The Norfolk Coast Partnership manages the area of outstanding natural beauty.
A refuge for wild nature and a shared treasure for those from all walks of life, the Norfolk Coast was designated in 1968. The 450 sq km dynamic coastline and inland area includes a rich range of landscapes, from expansive salt and freshwater marshes to rolling farmland and heaths; from rare chalk rivers to bustling ports and seaside towns.
The UK’s 46 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty are National Landscapes whose distinctive character and natural beauty are so precious that they are safeguarded in the national interest.
